Cochem castle opens the inner courtyards to visitors – a silver lining on the horizon
After a very long winter break and the lockdown since November 2nd, 2020, the Reichsburg Cochem will open the inner courtyards on May 21st, 2021. Guided tours through the castle are not allowed yet.
Facial masks have to be worn at all times on the castle grounds (medical masks or FFP2 masks), even outdoors. A negative COVID-19 test is not required. The courtyards are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. A reservation is necessary. The guests choose the desired date of the visit and an one-hour time slot in the online shop of the castle. The ticket for adults costs 3.50 Euro, the ticket for children (4 – 12 years) 1.00 Euro. After payment they will receive the online ticket via email. The online shop will be operational shortly. Information can be found on the website www.reichsburg-cochem.de. Checking in on the castle premises can easily be done with the Luca App.

The castle tavern will remain closed until further easing of COVID regulations. Hearty snacks, sweet treats as well as beverages can be purchased from our Gartencafé Ravené to-go.
