The tickets for the guided tours are available during the summer season and during the winter season 1 and 3 only in the souvenir-shop of the castle. During the winter season 2, 4 and 5 you can get tickets at the main gate just before the guided tour starts. During these periods the tickets can only be purchased with cash.
Access by car and motorbikeNicole Mörs2019-05-14T18:13:20+02:00
Please note that direct access to the castle by car or motorbike is not possible. The car should be parked in the city and, depending on the parking space you are using (for example, the parking garage in the Endertstraße or the city parking in the Pinnerstraße), you should need about 15-30 minutes to make the walk. The Reichsburg-Shuttle (public transport) operates between May and the end of October. You can find the timetable on the Reichsburg Shuttle page.
Direct access with your own coach is unfortunately not possible for traffic reasons.Guests travelling with a coach can disembark at the bus station (Endertplatz). From there it is about a 15 minute walk uphill to the castle. After the guests have disembarked from the bus, the bus has to be parked on the designated bus parking areas along the Moselle.
In our souvenir-shop you will find, among other things, a large selection of castle literature, tasteful accessories, children’s toys, picture books, jewelry, textiles, postcards and, of course, many Reichsburg souvenirs.
The souvenir-shop is open every day from 9.00 to 18.00 hrs during the summer season. During the winter season 1 and 3, the shop is open from 10.00 to 16.00 hrs. In the winter season 2, 4 and 5 the souvenir-shop is closed.
The castle’s restaurant is open every day from 10.00 to 18.00 hrs during the summer season. During the winter season 1 and 3, the castle’s restaurant is open from 11.00 to 16.00 hrs. In the winter season 2, 4 and 5 the castle’s restaurant is closed.
