For the first time the Reichsburg Cochem will stage a Victorian Market with fantastic artist, attractions and a mesmerizing Steampunk atmosphere!
On the 25th and 26th of April 2021 between 10 am and 6 pm a wide array of art and cultural offers, music and a market place with culinary delights. Visitors in time accurate costumes will walk around the imaginative Steampunk market in the Rosenhof.
The Reichsburg in Cochem was purchased in the second half of the 19th century from the wealthy Berlin industrialist Louis Ravené. Under his ownership the Castle, which was destroyed in 1689, was rebuild in the neogothic style between 1868 and 1877. The Ravené dynasty earned their wealth through commerce with steel as well as the construction of the railroad between Koblenz and Trier.
